About Us
A1 Self Storage is owned by the Hodge Family. We purpose built the storage units after a family tour around the USA in 1985 where we looked for new property business ideas and visited a number of storage complexes. Coming back armed with plans and ideas we purchased the property where we built our house and then the storage units. It was important to us to live on site with the units both from a security point of view and to be readily available for our customers. Fleur who was only a few months old when we toured the USA now manages A1SS and lives onsite. She has grown up with her two brothers with the business, so if you need any information on your storage requirements just give her a call and she will be pleased to help you.
